The Brothers Kailajarvi in 1965

All three Kailajarvi lifting brothers are family men. They work in the same big industrial company – Jorma as an iron-plate worker (now a labour investigator), Jouni as a truck mechanic, Jaakko as an electrician. They train togetrer, All are very agile and supple, able to leap from a standing position over a fence 4 1/2 feet (135 centimeters) high with legs and feet under the erect body. All the Kailajarvi brothers can run 100 yards in 10.5 seconds at any time and place and without training.
