Olympics in Tokyo: U.S Olympians Choose the Pan Am To Go To Japan!

History in Color:

American finest Olympic weightlifters and coaches are ready for the Summer Olympics in Tokyo (1964).

Left to right:

Bob Hoffman (York, PA; Head Coach), Norbert Schemansky (Detroit, MI; 90+kg, bronze medal), Louis Riecke (New Orlean, LA; 90kg, not qualified), Bill March (York, PA; 90kg, 4th place), Gary Cleveland (York, PA; 82,5kg, 5th place), Tony Garcy (York, PA; 67.5kg), Isaac Berger (York, PA; 60kg, silver medal), John Terpak (York, PA; Team Manager), Gary Gubner (NYC, NY, 90+kg, 4th place)

Just some History in Color glimpses from the 1964 Olympics in Tokyo with a few weeks left before the Summer Olympics in Tokyo in 2021. Although the Pan Am is long gone, the names of legendary Olympians stay for ever.
