July 26, 1956, Helsinki, Finland – Legendary Peter George of Team USA completes his 150kg opener in the clean-and-jerk program on his way to the gold medal in the 75kg class at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki.


3x U.S. Olympian Peter George competed for the United States at the Summer Olympics in London (1948), Helsinki (1952) and Melbourne (1956). He won one gold and two silver medals!
