I am an understudy of the new world of birds.
New as of new to me, of course.
I read books, learn about the birds, adjust my photo skills to the new types of model, and look at the more experienced birdwatchers and photographers.

Had the Earth been flat, he could have been easily making pictures of pelicans in Florida while holding the camera in Massachusetts.

And no tripod whatsoever – pure strength in hands and sharpness in the eyes.
