Just a blast from the past… It’s one of the episodes from the Funny Guys TV.
Moscow. Winter 1990.
A man wearing a black stocking mask on his face is looking lost on the street.
He is asking people on the street:
“How can I get to the nearest bank around here?”
Peope on the street are unaware that that he is wired with a mic.
All is being videotaped by a hidden TV camera for the show.
“Excuse me… How can I get to the nearest bank around here?”
“Bank? Oh, just go straight… Couple of blocks and turn right. You’ll see it”
“Are there alot of people there at this time of the day?”
“Nah… I don’t think so.”
“How about the security officers?”
“Just an older guy inside…”
People in Moscow were friendly when I did this candid-camera-like improv routine for the show. No one called the police. Everybody were giving directions.
